Corsica flag with plastic rings

The origins of the Moor's head as a Corsican flag.

The very controversial legend of this emblem tells that Jaime of Aragon would have chosen it after a Corsican of his entourage had presented him on a white sheet the severed head of one of the Moorish slaves guilty of conspiracy.
